Chartered Financial Planner
As a Chartered Financial Planner Tom specialises in advising business owners and equity partners (in law and accountancy firms), as well as advising families on wealth structuring and passing capital down the generations.
Tom helps his clients step back and see the bigger picture – offering a different perspective and using technology and expertise to craft a financial plan to provide flexibility and security, working closely with our team to put clients at the centre of our plans.
Tom worked with us for nearly a decade before spreading his wings in a large corporate environment. Driven by a desire to offer a truly independent and individual approach to financial planning, he decided to return to the Aspire Partnership.
Tom has completed the Personal Finance Society (PFS) Fellowship programme, making him an official Fellow of the PFS. This means he has demonstrated an exceptional level of financial planning achievement, evidence of his commitment to professional development and a commitment to the CII’s code of ethics.
Tom has been awarded individual Chartered status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This is considered the “gold standard” financial planning accreditation.
Tom lives in Bristol with his wife and young son, and outside of work enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel (including regular trips to Malaysia to see the in-laws), skiing, and reading.
Enjoying all of the wonderful food Bristol has to offer is a priority for Tom, and as a result he can often be found in the gym in an effort to offset the calories!
