Chartered Paraplanner
Jack joined in 2019 as a paraplanner and has worked hard to earn the well deserved accolade of Chartered status. He previously worked in pensions for four years before moving on to financial planning.
In his day-to-day role, Jack assists Ian with a variety of recommendations for pensions, investments, mortgages and equity release. He researches and analyses potential new products and reviews current products. He also deals with clients and carries out transactions for them. As a Senior Member of the support team, Jack also helps shape the risk and compliance processes and mentors other support team members.
Jack lives in Wraxall with his wife and little girl. Away from the office, he is a keen golfer and spends far too much time watching all manner of sports. To relax after an adrenaline-filled day of sport, Jack likes to get stuck into a good book.
CII Chartered Financial Planner status is a prestigious designation awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute, signifying high professional standards, technical expertise, and ethical commitment to delivering trusted financial advice.
This qualification enables professional advisers to develop specialist planning capabilities, covering topics like: personal tax and trust, business financial, pension and investment planning.
This Level 4 Diploma meets the FCA’s qualification requirements for retail investment advisers, demonstrating core technical knowledge and financial planning capabilities across six core areas.
The level 3 Certificate in Equity Release meets the FCA’s requirement for mortgage advisers and those advising on equity release schemes. In addition to developing advisory skills, the Certificate offers an understanding of equity release regulation, products, market practice, and customer needs.
This level 3 certificate meets the FCA’s qualification requirements for mortgage advisers. It develops an understanding of the sector and the mortgage process, enabling advisers to meet individual client needs.
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the UK regulation environment in the financial services industry, long-term care insurance products and the giving of long-term care insurance advice.
